Open Arms Ministry
to the visually impaired
Meets in the Parish Hall the second Saturday of each month (Sep.-May).
3:30-5:30 pm. Volunteers welcome guests, serve food and coordinate programs and activities for the events. Call Mary at 386-252-7487
Prayer Ministry
Volunteers pray daily for needs communicated to them by phone or email. Call or email Joan Lomnitzer at 518-409-2755, to post a prayer request or to volunteer to serve in this ministry of prayer.
Ministry of Hospitality
In the sanctuary lobby in between the services. Volunteers greet guests and staff the coffee cart as a service to members and guests (sponsored by the L.W.M.L.). If you would like to help contact Ellie at 386-238-0938
Food Pantry
You may bring food donations Sunday to the main lobby or weekdays, 8am-10am to the church Office. Distribution for members is Tues.-Thu., 9am-11am and Sunday mornings. The pantry is open to non-members the first Tuesday of the month 8am-10am. For more information call Carene Darcy at 386-212-0871
God's Property Team

LWML
(Lutheran Women Missionary League)

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Creates knitted shawls for people who are homebound, in care facilities, or people that you know who could receive comfort through your gift of a prayer shawl. If you knit or crochet and would like to serve contact Mary Wrucke at 386-252-7487

Holy Cross Thrift Shop

Our thrift shop supports local social ministries through funds from sale of donated items. All proceeds received above expenses are dedicated to support causes in the local community. None of the proceeds are used to pay the bills of Holy Cross Church. Volunteers wait on customers, process, and help display merchandise. The hours are Tues.-Fri. 10-4 and Sat. 10-1.
